Cut the lid off the pizza box and reinforce each corner with duct tape. Then cut the bottom and side seam of a kitchen garbage bag to fit, just like you see at left, and secure it with tape. This will keep the concrete from sticking.

Mix fast-drying concrete with water, according to package directions, until it’s the consistency of a thick brownie mix. Fill the pizza box with the mix, pushing it into the corners, like in the photo at left.

Press the leaves into the wet concrete surface, like at left. You may need to weigh part of a leaf down here and there with small stones. Water may rise to the surface, but don’t worry — it will evaporate.

When the concrete has completely dried, take it out of the box and pull off the leaves, like in the photo. This one took a couple of days to dry, but it varies depending on the weather. If any part of the leaf sticks, it will wear away in time.
