  • Summing It Up: Keep It Subtle

Several home-decor accent accessories slip in and out of trend, but one thing that has stood the test of time, place, and occasions, is floral decorations. Whether they are indoors or outdoors, at weddings or on birthdays, floral accessories have a way of lighting up our surroundings. They help add color to our gardens, terrace, bedroom, and living room. Fresh flowers that are regularly changed help bring a beautiful, calming smell to the table.

If you’re planning to decorate your home with flowers, you’re going to need a couple of floral accessories. We’ve listed some accessories and creative ideas below to help you welcome flowers into your home.

1. Glass vase

This is perhaps one of the best ways to make your space welcoming. Greet everybody who walks in with glass vases filled with flowers. Hallways, living rooms, bedrooms, or bathrooms, you name it. There’s a glass vase for every place.

A dining room is an ideal place to flaunt your finest flowers. You could position three glass vases in a row and display a sophisticated line-up of your snow-white roses and lilies. You could buy a statement vase and introduce it to your bathroom vanity. You could even buy one for your side table. The options are endless!

2. Planters

If you’re fond of fresh flowers, just get some good-looking planters. Peace lily, lipstick plant, flowering maple, etc. are some of the plants you could go for. When it comes to planters, you could choose ones made out of concrete, plastic, granite, or ceramic. Make sure to match the colors to your home design. When you’re unsure, go with either white or black.

3. Flower Wall Sconces

When it comes to designing interiors, less is often more. For instance, just get a few wall sconces and mount them in your hallway. You could also mount them on your doors and on each side of a window. The result? Beautiful flowers that are clean-lined, and neat arrangements for an instant, eye-catching effect.

4. Artificial flower strips

A flower strip containing graceful white flowers in an arch shape around the entrance door. The trick is as old as time itself, but you can never go wrong with it. You can combine it with some greens on the sides, climbers, and lamps. With these strips, your entrance door will become the talk of the town.

5. Pair up flowers and candles

Scented candles are relatively a newer delicacy in modern homes. They’re loaded with fragrances that turn your everyday activities into sensory experiences. Women are particularly inclined to develop these beautiful little spaces in their homes.

The aesthetic appeal and subtle aroma of flowers and candles when combined can transform your kitchen counter, bathtub, and even your study table into an eye-catching, relaxing spot.

6. Corner floral rack

If you’d like a dedicated floral corner in your living room, you may want to step it up and think out of the box. You’re probably already familiar with those ladder-like wooden racks. They’re usually placed in patios and gardens.

Not only are they perfect for your garden, but they are also suitable for your living room and terrace. Add real flower plants on it and they’ll light up the space with fresh aromas and vibrant colors. If you’re able to, add an Arabian Jasmine to your floral collection for an unrivaled morning kick!

Summing It Up: Keep It Subtle

As we mentioned earlier, minimal ornamentation can never go wrong when it comes to home decor. Make sure you use the aforementioned accessories to create stunning centerpieces. You can even go for wildflowers in wooden crates for a rustic look!
