Mirror, mirror…
Make your backyard seem more spacious with a well-angled mirror! Attached to the privacy fence and framed by the arbor, the 6- x 4-ft. mirror to the left seems to reveal a whole new area of the yard. A 2×4 keeps it off the ground and four or five mirror clips hold it in place.
Occasionally a bird might flap and peck at its image in spring. If this becomes a problem for you, cover the mirror with paper or a tarp for a few days until the bird goes elsewhere. This kind of behavior is usually a problem during mating season when birds are more territorial.
