‘Liberty’ hosta

By: Garden Gate staff
Keep your shade garden bright and colorful all season with beautiful 'Liberty' hosta.

‘Liberty’ hosta

‘Liberty’ has striking variegation — in spring, this good-looking hosta starts out with the yellow edge in the photo. Around the time its flowers arrive in summer, though, the color of the leaf edge changes to creamy yellow. Pair it with other hosta cultivars in solid greens and blue-grays to really show it off best. You can even plant lower-growing perennials, such as deadnettle or European wild ginger, underneath its vase-shaped habit.
