Pallet furniture is easy to make with only a few simple tools, such as a hand drill, screws and a circular saw. These Adirondack-like chairs are cut from pieces of old pallets and lightly sanded and whitewashed and stained to add a unique finish. When you’re building with pallets, wear gloves, and check for splinters, nails and staples. Pallets are often about 42 in. square, so that leaves plenty of room to cut the ragged ends off for a 36-in.-wide chair.
