Keep your harvest fresh
Heading out to harvest vegetables doesn’t always mean you’ll be right back in. Your edible garden might be far from the house, and it’s easy to get caught up pulling weeds or in another outdoor chore. In the meantime, though, picked produce can begin to wilt in the sun.
Carry an ice cooler with you whenever you want to bring in some veggies. Loading everything inside, just like you see at left, makes for an easy way to carry them safely back indoors, so veggies stay crisp and fresh until you can put them away.
