A clean poke

By: Garden Gate staff
Keep this handy accessory close while spraying weeds.

A clean poke

The nozzle on your sprayer can get clogged while treating weeds. Instead of trekking back to the shed or garage to clean it out, keep a 2-in.-long safety pin around the sprayer’s hose at all times, just like you see at left. This way, you can use the sharp end of the pin to poke out any debris and continue on with your yard work.

Jumbo safety pins are available wherever sewing supplies are sold.
