Must-have heucherella

By: Garden Gate staff
Add multiseason interest to shady spots with heucherella’s brightening blooms and showy foliage.

Must-have heucherella

A cross between coral bells (Heuchera spp. and hybrids) and foamflower (Tiarella spp. and hybrids), heucherella is a low-maintenance perennial.

Ensure against root rot when planting, and don’t bury the crown, or the base of the plant where foliage emerges. After the flowers finish, just snip back the stems to keep the focus on the gorgeous foliage.
