Gorgeous grasses
There’s probably no other group of plants that’s as easy to care for or as trouble-free as ornamental grasses. Pests and diseases aren’t usually a problem, and most plants are long-lived, keeping your garden lively for years with their beautiful foliage and flowers.

It’s a warm-season grass, meaning it’s slow to emerge and blooms in late summer, as opposed to cool-season grasses, which take off early and flower in spring. One thing to keep in mind when planting: Many of the warm-season types have nice fall color.
