DIY plant tie

By: Garden Gate staff
This easy-to-make binding is a decorative and sturdy way to hold stems together.

DIY plant tie

Don’t let plants splay open! Prevent tall stems from flopping, bending or breaking without help from twine. Cut a string of beaded costume jewelry to wrap snugly above the crown of your plant. Then just hot glue the ends together for a decorative and sturdy binding, like the one around this bay laurel (Laurus nobilis).
