Sweet and petite
The right size to nestle beside a bench or set of stairs, put this small container where you can best enjoy nemesia’s spicy clovelike fragrance. Just like the fiber optic grass, nemesia will continue all the way into fall, but it might slow down when summer temperatures reach their peak. If so, cut the flowers back and wait for a rebloom.
As the weather gets hotter, the chard could start to look gangly and Persian buttercup can fade. Just replace them with perennials that don’t mind heat, such as mealycup sage (Salvia farinacea). Now click ahead to find out how to plant this container!
