Safe guard your containers
Had it up to here with pesky squirrels uprooting your containers? Protect your plants and your hard work with this cheap, easy fix. Here’s how:
Step 1: Find a cracked or broken terra-cotta pot and break it down further into 4- to 5-inch pieces. (Anything smaller and squirrels will be able to move it aside.)
Step 2: Arrange the chunks around your plants so that they cover all of the potting mix, just like we did here.
Now squirrels will stick to digging in the ground!
