Water with ease

Keeping plants watered is essential for a good-looking garden, but it can turn into a chore when temperatures are high and it doesn’t rain.

Avoid dragging your hose all over the yard by grouping containers together. And situate thirsty plants, such as the smooth hydrangea (Hydrangea arborescens) at left, near a water source, so it’s always easy to give them a drink.
