Don't throw it out! Use these tips to turn an old purse into a unique container.

Purse planter!
Want a great conversation starter? Plant up an old purse! One made out of vinyl or plastic works best because fabric breaks down too quickly in the weather. Then cut the lining out and poke holes in the bottom with scissors to help it drain better.
The nice thing about the purse here is that it has a flat base — hang it somewhere, like the back of a chair, or use it as a centerpiece for lunch with a friend.
Just click ahead to find out which colorful plants are inside. Although this combo can tolerate full sun, this small container will do better in part shade because it dries out quickly.
