‘TigerEye Gold’ gloriosa daisy Rudbeckia hirta
It’s hard to miss ‘TigerEye Gold’ gloriosa daisy in the garden. The bright golden-yellow blooms practically glow. Multi-branched stems are full of blooms that last so long, they don’t seem real. Eventually, the blooms do fade but with deadheading, more keep coming all summer. The foliage is nice, too, with no signs of powdery mildew on the leaves.
‘TigerEye Gold’ is more tender than other gloriosa daisies. It’s only cold-hardy in zone 10 and warmer, so most gardeners will treat it as an annual.
