What it is — A large, well-engineered metal framework with large, caster-type wheels.
What it does — Attachment of the framework turns a standard wheelbarrow into a heavy duty, three-wheeled, industrial dump cart.
|
|
How it works — The wheel is removed from the barrow. The front bars of the frame are attached to the barrow's wheel support and the wheel is remounted. The rest of the barrow is supported by the metal framework with the landing gear held completely off the ground.
The large, industrial-strength tires give the barrow three load-bearing points that make it very easy to push over most any kind of ground.
Because the front axle is joined to the Back Saver's framework, you can pivot the barrow forward on the front wheel and dump big loads easily. The load is always supported by the wide, sturdy framework.
It may be a bit more than smaller gardens would need. But if you're going to be hauling heavy or bulky loads, this conversion will turn an ordinary contractor's wheelbarrow into a hefty moving machine.
