Little houses don’t have to have little gardens! In fact, a too-narrow foundation planting just looks wimpy. And don’t limit yourself to low-growing plants, either. We’ve chosen some medium-sized shrubs and a small ornamental tree to shade this corner. Then we’ve made the bed wide enough to give them plenty of room. Finally, we’ve stayed with a simple palette of pink, burgundy and chartreuse to make a great-looking planting design.
